Camel meat is one of the richest in taste of all red meats. It is also a good source to many vitamins, especially vitamin B complex and important minerals such as iron, calcium and phosphorus. Camel meat is also characterized by low level of cholesterol (61 mg) as compared to other farm animals like beef (75-86 mg), making it a healthy food for humans. They may not eat it every day or even every week, but they eat it. It’s found in most of the larger supermarkets and is frequently a festive food. It tastes mostly like beef. Younger camel is tastier and more tender.
