Our Whole Chicken Kienyeji (Original) are sourced from free range chicken that are raised on rich pastures of Kitengela poultry farms and some from Ikinu, the birds are not confined and can look for food over an extended open area. This gives kienyeji chicken a distinctive taste that cannot be found in any other chicken types. It is also the best chicken breed for chicken soup/stew.
Our Whole Chicken (Kienyeji) or free range if you so wish to call them are organic and pasture-raised, begin with the belief that the chickens should be allowed to live in habitats that mimic their natural surroundings. They’re raised on small farms and permitted to roam outdoors at their leisure. This allows them to get plenty of exercise and display their natural behaviors, like pecking, flapping, bobbing, and clucking. The chickens never receive antibiotics and eat feed grown by farmers committed to improving soil quality over time.
